Upcoming release — Zylon 1.58These docs are published ahead of release so you can prepare your API integrations. The release image is not yet available. For installations running 1.57, use the 1.57 documentation.

Before you start: identify the 1.57 models

Check ai.preset in /etc/zylon/zylon-conf.yaml on the machine you are upgrading. Find that preset in the 1.57 AI Presets Reference; its Models column lists the model IDs you need, including the embedding model. For a custom preset, use the model IDs in your preset configuration. Replace <model_id> throughout this guide with one of those IDs. Repeat each model download command for every model required by your preset. For a full-airgap installation, use the same IDs on the online and offline machines. This guide upgrades to 1.57, so use the linked 1.57 reference even if you are reading it from the upcoming documentation.
