# Accessing the Backoffice

> Open the Backoffice from a Workspace or a direct URL.

There are two ways to access the Backoffice. Both require an account with **Operator** or **Developer** permissions.

1. **From Workspace navigation**
   Open the left navigation menu and select **Platform Backoffice** or **Developer Console**. These entries appear only when your account has the required role.

2. **From a direct URL**
   Navigate to `https://<your_zylon_domain>/backoffice`. You will be redirected to the Backoffice login page.

Sign in using:

* Zylon account credentials, or
* an enabled SSO provider (for example, Google or Microsoft)

After signing in, you can switch between **Platform Backoffice**, **Developer Console**, and **Workspace**.
